Beam Design software for Mac

Anonymous
Not applicable
Is there any Mac software I can use for simple beam design. I don't want anything fancy or even all that integrated with ArchiCad.

A simple beam machine is all I want.

Free (or REALLY cheap!) would be good too.

You could always test upgrading your Archicad. You can model any beam with the custom profiles.

I believe our colleague means to calculate the beam, not merely model it....

I don't think so. Fortunately, when you get an intel Mac you can use the free beam software from TrussJoist via Parallel desktop, but not integrated with AC.

So what are you looking for, drawings, calcs or both?

Dear Todd:
Update the IMac with an Intel and I can get you set up!

For professional use, cheap is always too expensive
