Chief Architect vs. ArchiCad

Which is better?

Of course I support AC, but I just met someone that claims CA is by far better.

If anyone has switched to or from either program please list the pros and cons.
Thanks,

I see my name has been invoked.

You're not going to get very far with a "Chief Architect is better than ArchiCAD" discussion on Graphisoft's own website. If you have specific questions about log construction drafting, someone else would have to answer those as I don't do any of it. But ArchiCAD has some parametric 3D log wall abilities that Chief does not have. (See 'log details' under Wall DBX, Model tab). And I believe there is a 3rd party add-on available for this type of construction, as well.

While there might be some situations where Chief would have features that AC doesn't have, I don't think this is one of them.

I was mainly looking for someone that could compare the two that had used both.

And yes I guessing AC would win the vote since it is on their own forum.
