We are trying to export Zones form AC and import it to DDS.
Unfortunately, the default translator is horribly slow... I take ages to export around 100 zones and that's only part of the project. The longest takes Stage 2 - Calculating zone boundaries.
In the default setting what seems to make difference is 3 options:
- IFC Base Quantities
- IFC Space Containment
- IFC Space Boundaries
Also as we got info form DDS support they need extruded elements, not BERP geometry.
Does anyone have knowledge which options can be omitted and still have DDS reading zones? My first choice is Space Containment and Maybe Boundaries. During the test, we noticed that Base Quantities is the must. But it exports 15 parameters which probably a few are needed.
Does anyone know which parameters are necessary and is there any way to adjust the amount of exported Quantities?
