DWG Translation Alters State of a Parametric Object

I have some hand-scripted parametric objects for storage lockers and parking stalls. 

Recently, my DWG exports alter the state of these objects as placed and configured and they appear with other parameters set.

The translator is set to explode GDL objects, but this apparently doesn't solve the problem. 

Or is that the problem?

conversion to Autocad Blocks solved the problem
