DWGs place a Student Version Plotstamp inside the file.

I'm having a whale of a time with a consultant who opens DWGs from Archicad and get a student plotstamp message. He can open the files, but not save them. I've never encountered this before and am baffled.

When I open these files in Autocad (2018 or 2022), I am told they're coming from a non-Autodesk product, but I'm able to open the files, modify and save them. I can't defeat the message I get, but I can work with the files. My consultant can't.

All suggestions welcome. I'm at a total loss.

I remember this cropping up before.
Does anything in this post help?

Thanks Barry,

I'll comment on that thread.saving to 2004 seemed to solve the problem (temporarily anyway), but that's just so 2004. : - )

Later versions of the translator handle elements differently - arguably better. Why wouldn't I want to save out to the latest version of Autocad I can?
