Goodies Add-on won't show up in menu Archicad 25

Hello,

I've been having problems with seeing the Goodie Add-Ons in my Archicad 25. I have to  use mesh to roof tool, but I can not see the options to choose from in the Design Extras dropdown menu. I have tried couple of tutorials about the installation including adding them to my workspace.

Still they seem to be greyed out even in that situation. I am using the student version, does it have something to do with that?

Does anyone have a idea what to do?

That is very strange.

I don't think it has anything to do with a student license.

It should be the same software and same add-ons.

This is what I see with the same WE.

Even the menu structure is a little different - I don't have Sitemaker menu in mine.

In fact I have never heard of that.

If you view by 'All Menus', do you see the commands inside that menu?

I just had a thought.

Have you downloaded the correct language version add-ons for your Archicad software?

i.e. if you have INT version of Archicad, you will need the INT goodies.

If you look in the Add-on Manager (options menu), are the add-ons loaded?

If you have previously updated Archicad, and have only just installed the add-ons now, try updating Archicad again with the latest build.

The updates supposedly also update the add-ons from what I understand (even though nothing in them ever changes).

Thank you for the answer! I downloaded Archicad 25 very recently, about 3 weeks ago, and haven't gotten any notifications about an update, so no I haven't updated. I will look into it and see if there's an update to do.

In the meantime I checked the Add-Ons Manager and this is what I see, I have tried adding it through 'editing the available list of add ons', but i get this message. I don't know if that is the problem or if it says that because they already look added.

jansetyeten:

The command might not be loaded to your Work Environment. Try changing the Command and Menus option to "All commands in alphabetical order" and searching for "Create".

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your Archicad version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

@jansetyeten , yes it looks like the add-ons are loaded correctly.

It must just be that the commands are not added in the Work Environment.

You might be using a custom WE.

Try swapping to a standard WE or update you custom one by adding the commands into the menus.

These are the menu options I am seeing, I have chosen a template Profile to see if  the add-on's are on the menu, they're not. I try to search for them and see if I can add them to my work environment manually, I can't seem to be finding them under the list of commands, so I can't add them to my menu.

Maybe I am not getting something correctly, if so I apologize.

Thank you for the help!

Maybe try another profile.

I don't even have one called "Architectural Commands 25", but that might just be the AUS version of the software that I have.

Here is what I see for profiles ...

I would try "Architectural Basic Profile 25" if you have it.

Maybe that "Architectural Commands 25" profile does not have the necessary menus set up for accessories - that is why there is nothing on the right hand side.

Look through the list on the left (all commands) to see if any of the accessory commands are there.

Note, this is my personal modified settings.

On the left you can also change it to 'All menus' and see if the sub-menus are there - if not then you have to set those up too.

I still can not see the command in the list to add them to the menus. I think I'll try to uninstall the whole software and re-install it sooner or later.

Could the problem be with me having a student's license?

There's also this situation when I try to change/add something, Mesh to Roof tool. Maybe the problem lies here?

I also just updated the software, but it is still the same with the Menus'
