How do I publish .dwg files to scale?

I need to figure out how to publish .dwg files at 1/8" = 1'-0" scale. It seems my .dwg files are all 1 to 1 when published. I have found the part in the translator about "Value of 1 DXF/DWG Drawing Unit In ArchiCAD:". The problem is I have no clue what a drawing unit in ArchiCAD is, or it's value in relation to any other CAD program such as (The Evil Darkside) AutoCad. The choices given are 1 meter, 1 milimeter, 1 inch, 1 foot, Custom mm and Custom inch. I'm sure I could use the custom setting, I know also to expand 1 to 1 to 1/8" inch scale, multiply size by a factor of 9600.

So, what do I do? I am just totally clueless, and have a new architect I'm sending drawings to that finds it too difficult to just expand by 9600 and keep on working like I do, and most everyone else does in these situations.

Thanks for the help, guys!
