My question is a very important question I have tried to solve for a long time but never got any solution.
We are doing the quanting surveyor of the project and giving a price based on material and labour cost.
Once we got the IFC file from the arkitekt, we retouch it in AC17 and export it to a program called Vico office.
The problem is that the export do not include all the skins in AC17. So the exported model in Vico is not really helping us with the material quanting in the walls.
Our solution was to make the quanting of wall material in AC17.
The solution was good until AC17 gives all the material amount in m3.
Is there no way to get the information in m2???
It does not help me to get the amount of plywood in m3. (the thickness of same material can change so the division by the thickness is hard)
