I am trying to install MaxonForm on my Intel Mac Pro. I got the plug-in for ArchiCAD downloaded fine, but I have been unable to get the MaxonForm CD to run the installer for the actual program correctly. No matter what I do it keeps asking me to "choose a directory". I am not sure what the version of the software is, but I know it was published in 2005. Any help you could give would be appreciated.
Its some serious problem. I should give maxonform presentation in apple center today but we couldnt install it on mac's. I dont understand why people use machintosh, its only advantage is better visual design by cost of so much other problems like uncompactibility, high purcase priceses, no black market software etc.
Actually, the ONLY programs that I have EVER had problems with are Graphisofts. All other programs have cross-platform compatible formats, etc. I don't know what the people at graphisoft are doing with their programing, but something is screwy.
Don't look down on Macintosh just because Graphisoft has problems.
