The Mesh Generator is not an add-on but an object. It is compatible with ArchiCAD 14 and 15 and will probably continue to be compatible with higher version, because contrary to add-ons it does not need to be upgraded.

After you have completed all the steps, it is a regular ArchiCAD Mesh, with the Mesh-2D representation.

If you want something Floor Plan Display-sensitive, check out my Object Slicer.
After you finish generating the Mesh, you can turn it to an object. The Object Slicer cuts this object into pieces.

this nice object solves a lot of archicad modeling problems , why you stopped working on it ? !! you can add a lot of possibilities and automate some actions so the workflow would be faster
