Method to copy an element list to another ac file

Hello :
How does one copy a custom element list from one AC file to another?

Element list I've set up is quite complicated so I don't want to enter it again.

I can open an existing file, discard the contents and save it with a new name. Unfortunately, that brings along library items I don't want in the new file. Is there a more direct way.

Merely asking the question seems to have gotten my little grey cells moving.

Problem solved.

I created a new "Element List Scheme" in a file with the item I need to transfer and saved the ELS to my library folder. Then dragged the items into the new ELS and saved. This now loads when I load my own library folder.
