PROBLEM - 2x4 fill saves as 2x2 hatch in AutoCAD

In ArchiCAD 9, I am using a 2x4 fill on an RCP to show a ceiling grid. When I save it to AutoCAD 2000, the hatch shows as a 2x2 grid. Any idea on how to solve this problem? I also tried to explode the fill in ArchiCAD and then export the lines to AutoCAD, but I cannot explode the fills.

Unfortunately this is a known bug. There is a problem in the DWG add-on. This problem will be resolved in the near future.

AFAIK this is no work around
