Purging and exporting a DWG file from AC to Other CAD

Hi, I was wondering if there is a simple way to compress or purge a DWG file for export ? For example if I only want to export single line entities that appear on my screen only and not multiple lines that make up dimension marker lines.

I exported a DWG file into another app and found many overlapping lines making up dimension marker locations. It was very complicated to delete all those lines and just keep the dimensions only. Does anyone have a way of simplifying a DWG before export ?

Are there multiple overlapping lines in Archicad before you save as a DWG?

If so you need to use the 'line consolidation' tool to merge them.
