I am working on creating a room list which will include surface qualities and treatments for walls, ceilings and floors. The list is based on net area zones.
Floors and ceilings are pretty easy, they have their own surface areas and you can use the zone fills as floor surface type, but when it comes to walls I am only able to get a total wall area for all the walls in a room. What I need is to separate the four walls and get individual wall areas so that I can specify materials for each wall and eventually get a total area of, say, all walls with bare concrete. Possibly it would have been easier to do this with a list based on wall types which is what I used for the first stages of the project, but for the completion phase it would be much better to have a list sorted by room number.
I'm open to suggestions.
