I think one of the old posts mentioned a free conversion program from vrml to stl. Quick Google came up with:

A good guy locally is providing 3d printer services - upload to his ftp, and he ships you the model:

His printer accepts vrml directly from ArchiCAD. But, his software doesn't understand bump-mapped (or displaced) shaders, which would add a huge level of realism without much work to the result. So, brick reveals have to be solid-element subtracted, etc.
Does the printer you're getting understand bump/displayed textures, Jeff?
