hi guys,
in course of data exchange testing the structural engineer asked me to provide my ifc model with grid axes. according to his informations he cannot establish the spatial coordinates for his structures placement into my model.
i could eventually send him the core structure only, but this would render the whole model incapable of proper elements insertion. i've read the manual provided by laszlo in his sticky posting, but it doesn't get me any further in this case.
how does it usually get handled at all?
