export sections with Sketchup model?

I am looking to bring my new engineer into the BIMx world, but can't get together with him for a while. [We're about 80 miles apart.] I have a loaner iPad I will leave with him once I get to sit down and run him through the basics of navigation etc.

In my experience, sharing the 3D model really opens their eyes to the intent of the design, and eliminates a lot of potential confusion.

In the interim, I have generated a couple of Sketchup models, and sent him the link to download the free viewer. I ma wondering if there is a way to export sections with the SketchUp model - it is the adjustable cutting plane of BIMx sections specifically that I'm after.

Any info I am missing to make this happen would surely be appreciated!

TIA jeff

There is a BIMx web viewer - no need to install any software at all, your engineer just needs a web browser.

I don't use it myself, but I believe you just upload you models to the BIMx transfer site and send your engineer the link.

Versions 6.5 to 27
i7-10700 @ 2.9Ghz, 32GB ram, GeForce RTX 2060 (6GB), Windows 10
Lenovo Thinkpad - i7-1270P 2.20 GHz, 32GB RAM, Nvidia T550, Windows 11

Thanks Barry. I'd just made an assumption this was an SSA only option.
