how to reduce load on files??

we hav to start designin 14 storey builiding of four diff block with landscaoe in studio....the file is geting enormously heavy...i wrk in wireframe mst of the time...bt da rendering takes time....can any help be dun??

With landscape? Are your trees & shrubs too complex? If they are highly detailed in 3D they could be the problem.
