unkonown tools

I have seen unknown tools shown in the maxonform demo movie (can be found here: http://www.graphisoft.com/ftp/marketing/MaxonForm/ ).

Actually in the movie there are tools called SE operators which can make boolean operations with objects. So far, I though solid element operations can be made only when the target is wall, and the operator is roof.

I am confused. Can someone explain?

You can use anything you want as a target. I use objects as targets with some frequency.

what you are seeing are saved selection sets. the user has created a selection set that they can get back to quickly and easily should they wish to . . .

try it: Window>Palettes>Show Selections
