thank you for the answer! I have a mac book pro 15! I have used the same computer, and I have also tried the international version before installing the italian one! in the international version of archicad 14 the commad "search" works perfectly! when I used archicad 13 (the italian version),the command "search" worked!

hello to all! I am an Italian student! I am trying the demo of archiacd 14(the italian version)! but I have noticed that , it is disappeared the command search from the menu help… in the version 13 I was able to find a tool directly writing its name in the search command! how can I do to find that command? I apologize for my very bad English
The command search is a feature of Mac OS X, not of ArchiCAD, and is only available in 10.5 and above. (Or is it only 10.6? Cannot remember when Apple introduced it.)

Are you using the same computer for 14 as you had used for 13?

That's strange that the Search field shows up in the Help menu for the INT version but not the IT version. I thought OS X stuck it into all apps automatically and that it could not be disabled. Sorry that I don't have a clue as to how to get it back. I'm going to change the subject line of your request in case someone else might have an idea to help.
