Dimension background

I'm pretty sure there is a way to clear the background for the dimension text box when placing it against background fills but for the life of me I can't remember how. Help?

If you are still on AC19, then look at Dimension Settings > Type and Font > Opaque. AC22 has the same setting under Text Style.
