i know .pdf...
but if i need the picture for microsoft power point presentation?
if i crop it from .pdf, then is better if i take a print screen...

Yes it is a pain MS does not support pdf in Powerpoint
but
I have had success with PNGs for powerpoint use
(and if possible best outcome is PNG from Acrobat (full not reader)).
