Irregular Shaped Interior Elevation

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have a project modeled and I am trying to make Interior elevations that are correct without changing them into Drawings because we have done a lot of small changes and I don't want to change them all the time.
The main problem is that I have a bulkhead running down both sides of a room. (Not my idea...)
I have read something about 3D Zones but I have never used the tool myself and I haven't seen anything to explain it... Maybe I'm missing something.

I have attached a screen shot of one of the interior elevations.

Any help is appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
Jenn

Side note:

I have tried checking off 'Hide Cut Elements' but the elements I want to see disappear.

You can place white fills to cover the parts you don't want to see.

Thanks for your reply Matthew...
I have been doing that so far but because the size of the bulkhead is/has been changing I have to go back and change all of my elevations. And I'm not talking 1 or 2... I mean 50 or more are involved in the change.

I am keep with the bulkhead because it is my best example.... There are other things that are affecting my interior elevations.

You could get the bulkheads to clean up to the adjoining walls and ceilings by setting them to the same fill. Then the troublesome lines will go away automatically. (Sorry, that probably should have occurred to me first.)

Thanks for your tip Matthew.
Was working with one of the other guys in the office last night and we were playing around with 3D zones...
Figured out how to do it using that and SEO
When I have a moment I will sit down and write out what we did so if anyone else was having problems with it could find out what I did
