Layers/Lineweights

Is there anyway to select all objects in a layer? It's extremely inconvenient to turn all layers off except for the one whose lineweights I want to affect.

Also if there are different objects in one layer, and I select all to change the lineweights, will it work? Like if I've selected a wall, an object, and a slab, sometimes it only changes the attributed of the last one I selected. I think.

Still trying to figure the pens out.
Thanks

Ok that makes sense. So how do you correspond the layout pen weights with what you design in the "modelspace"?

I just did a couple test plots with layout pen set archicad 9 and arch pens black. There is lineweight difference now, but the two pen sets appear to have exactly the same outcome.

Thanks for clarifying

You can just duplicate the model pen set, then amend as necessary and "Store As" the new Layout pen set. Assign the new pen set in Layout space.

OHHHHHH.

Okay. Thanks so much. Time to go churn my plots out.

"tdellaqu", you have asked a good many questions now. Some work in the tutorials, a trip to the help files, and a read or two in the manual would do you good, as well as reading the whole answer you get before you post a new question.

You can set your layout to use the same penset as your model view if you like. Just select it in the proper settings box. And there's a Hairline option in the Print dialog too, check that you're turned that off.
