Top of Steel Marker

Anonymous
Not applicable
Does anyone know where it is possible to obtain a marker like the one in the attached image to use in elevations and sections to show the vertical height of things like top of steel, top of stud plates, etc. ?

I found one but it does not take into account the fact that main floor may be set at 100'-0", so you get 16'-3" rather than 116'-3".

Michael:

Use the Dimensioning Tool, Dimension Type: Elevation Dimension. Once the dimension is placed, select just the Text of the Dimension, open its settings and change from Measured Value to Custom Text, then Insert Autotext for the preferred reference level (Project Zero, 1st Reference Level, etc.). In the Help files see: User Interface Reference > Tool Settings Dialog Boxes > Dimension Text Settings.
