Elevations View

AC 29 - In my Elevations view. the Marker text depicting the Floor elevations is shown

a large space away from the subject.  Any way to control this space (distance from)

I believe the setting you're looking for is shown below.


In the Project Map, select the Elevation and open Elevation Selection Settings. Under Story Levels, you'll find Offset to Boundary, which controls how far the Story Level lines extend from the edge of the Elevation.


Also keep in mind that the overall extent of the Elevation itself will affect how much of the model is visible.

Those storey markers are linked to the width (extent) of the elevation markers in plan.

Shrink the width of the elevation markers and they will move.

 

You can offset them in the elevation settings, but only so they are further away.

You can not offset them inwards with a negative distance.

This image is 25, but should be the same in 29.

If you want to markers inward, you will need to resort to Linked Markers.
