dimesnion box not there

i am really just starting to learn achicad and i want to stretch a wall.
in the tutorial video you pick the wall, the end node and stretch, then you can see a little dimension and angle box, type in the lenght, hit enter and BANG done.

But i dont see any dimension or angle box and if i type in any lenght, my computer ignores it.
have it turned it off some how ?

Check your work environment to be sure the tracker is on.

It is also common (at least on Mac side) that the tracker will not show when AC is first launched. This happens to me most (if not all) of the time. The default shortcut to toggle the tracker is the "j" key with no modifiers. Just hit this and the tracker should appear.

this tracker thing was turned off for some reason.
