I think this is a small bug in the file. The Wall is set to Existing, the Door is set to  New. When I change the Wall to New, then back to Existing, the Door appears correctly.

The file you posted is AC25, so your signature can use an update.

Any chance that there are actually 2 walls on top of each other where you are placing those doors?

OK, so you have copied the wall settings and the door settings and then there is no problem.

There is obviously something still different, I just can't think what it might be.

Not without playing with the actual file.

If you want to send the file in a file share website, please do and post the link.

If you want to keep the file private, then you can message me the link if you want to.

You could also select the wall and door and save selection as a module.

ZIP the module and attach it to this post.

That way we will get just the problem wall which might be enough.

Thank you Barry.

Here is the mod file with this wall in level 4.

OK, you have me stumped.

I have tried everything I can think of.

Changed every setting in the wall - heights, layer, storey, floor plan display, etc.

Changed the wall.

Change the object.

Checked MVO settings.

Open & repaired the file.

Copied into my own template.

Nothing fixes it.

But if I place a new wall - everything is fine as in your videos.

So all I can suggest is to replace the walls - unless somebody else has a suggestion.

And of course it would be good to send off to your local Archicad support if you can.

Just send them that MOD file.

That was it.

The one thing I didn't look at as I don't use renovation filters much.

I did try changing the reno filter but that did not change the reno status of anything.

The problem is the door and the wall have different reno status to each other.

Changing them so they match makes them show as you would expect.

Changing the wall to a different reno status (and changing it back) resets the reno status of associated doors so they now match the wall.

I am not sure if that is a bug or if it is intended to do that - as I say I don't use renovation filters all that much.
