Hey All,
Im having a really annoying problem with my Performance. When selecting or switching view my Program is loading a looong Time.
The Model Im Working on is quite Complex but i Have a fairly good Laptop and my GPU Usage is at 5% Max.
I think I tried everything i Could find.
-Switched Antivirus Settings (I think I did that right)
-Updated Graphics Drivers
-Changed the Archicad model updating settings
- Turning the ELEMENTS INFO Palette off
-repaired Archicad file
Nothing seems to work. I thinking of modeling in a different File for some parts and then copying over cause simple Tasks can take up minutes when you could do it in a few seconds if all is running smoothly.
Has anyone experienced similar problems and knows a Fix?
Thanks a Lot,
Mathis Jüres 🙂

You haven’t moved the model far away from the 0,0 origin or started modelling away from the 0,0 origin? There could also be a single rogue element that is far away from the 0,0 origin.
Try turning all layers on and then fit to screen on each storey one by one to see if there is anything far away from the rest of the model.

Sadly that's not it! Thanks for the Idea though!
I remembered that i noticed the problem after i Did a complex profile Using splines, wich i know cut Performance. I then deleted the object I placed with it but didn't delete the profile thinking Ill remodel it later without splines. Since it isnt placed in the model that cant be it right? I also have lots of Groups with many objects.
Thanks for your Answer 🙂
Any other Idea?

Hi,
thanks for these Articles. I don't know how I haven't come across them.
The problem seems to have solved itself after saving the project as a new file (again).
I dont know how that worked but im happy to work in peace again.
Thanks for the help and have a nice Weekend!
