Has anyone actually managed to be able to use Archicad 30 with MacOS27 yet?
I had it working for about five minutes and now It crashes immediately on start up and no amount of restarts will fix it.
We knew it was an issue that was flagged in the beta, but there's absolutely zero excuse for formally releasing the software in this state.
The mac developer beta's been out since June/July and not a single other application on my Mac has had issues with the new OS apart from Archicad.
Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon 27 Golden Gate

Dear All,
macOS 27.2 is now available and appears to resolve the issue causing Archicad 30 to crash at startup. While Apple has not confirmed a fix, our crash report system has not received any reports from this macOS version so far.
We advise updating to macOS 27.2, and please let us know whether the update resolves the startup crash for you.
We are also developing a fix on our side as well, which is now undergoing extended testing. We aim to include it in an update to Archicad.

I can't believe it. What crash is the launcher. You can open a project double clicking in it and it will launch archicad perfectly
This is beyod belief. I had caro problems while beta testing it with Mac

I’m using 30 with macOS 27 and have been since release of macOS 27. The Starter page doesn’t always crash and a restart usually fixes it. I almost always open the files directly and very rarely through the starter page anyway.

Hi @Kalib Stewart,
I’m sorry for the disruption and frustration this is causing. We’re aware of the crash affecting the Archicad 30 Starter screen on macOS 27 and are actively working to address it.
We also have encouraging results from internal testing with a beta version of an upcoming macOS update. However, we can’t yet confirm whether the final release will resolve the issue, so we are also working on a change in Archicad that will be included in an upcoming update.
We understand that restarting your system two or three times is a significant inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your patience in trying this. If the issue persists after those restarts, please try opening an existing project directly by double-clicking the project file, rather than launching Archicad through the Starter screen. As others have noted here, this can bypass the affected screen.
We understand that a startup crash is highly disruptive, and thank you for your patience while we work on a solution.
Best regards,
Tamás

Sorry for the late reply here Tamás, it didn't work for me. I had to repair the install and now it seems to be stable (mostly). Double clicking isn't helpful as the projects are on teamwork sorry. Unless there's a way to double click them? Anyway - seems okay for now. Hoping the beta fixes these.

I can not belive you have lauched Archicad 30 without testing it against OS software! I hope you fix these issues ASAP!

Now I can't start Archicad 30 at all. Nothing. This is completely unacceptable. A crash each and every time I try to open a project or start a new one. How on earth this just hit the release mark is beyond belief. Lowest level Graphisoft has ever achieved.
Why am I paying a subscription for a software I can't use because it crashes all the time?

Is yours the only user account on the machine? I had an issue with crashing when there are multiple user accounts and when trying to open a project from the start screen. A restart normally solved th start screen issue.

Hi @Tamas Gaspar ,
It seems to have fixed the sticking cursor click too.
Thursday
Yes, it does.

Do you use network units?
In my case the archicad 30 crash when it asked me for permission to access the network drives just before starting the home screen even with the updated version of MacOs 27.2 I uninstalled archicad and reinstalled it again, this time I did not give it permission to search in network drives when I requested it and so far it has not failed again in the boot.
I comment in case the failure could come from that side.
