Graphisoft took the decision to completely change the library (object) system in version 28.
This had the unfortunate result that there is no migration of objects across the 27 - 28 versions.
Anything up to version 27 migrates just fine.
Anything created in 28 will migrate just fine into future versions.
There is just a break between 27 and 28 that we can do nothing about.
Except, keep using the old 27 libraries or replace the old objects with the new 28+ objects.
Load the 27 library and the 27 migration libraries and all of your missing objects will return.
As I mentioned before, this only applies to the objects.
Other elements *walls, slabs, roof, etc.) will copy & paste just fine.

Not that simple - or it is.
Left is v29 layout in 29
Right is a copy and paste of the info from left
Same version to verion and no stalls, no toilets no urinals. no partitions

Trust me there is no problem copying from one version to another or even between the same version.
As you can see the walls and slabs and some objects are coming across just fine.
The black dots are objects that have copied across but the correct library is not loaded so those objects can not be displayed.
Make sure that you have the same libraries loaded in both files and there will not be a problem.
Look at the Library Manager in the file you are copying to and you should see a "missing" library and some warnings about missing objects.
Show an image of your library manager and we might be able to work out what is happening.
