We are continuously developing the next generation of AI Visualizer to deliver enhanced capabilities and an even stronger foundation for future AI-powered visualization workflows in Archicad. This development also marks the transition to a new and improved version of AI Visualizer, designed to provide a more reliable, powerful, and flexible experience.
As part of this transition, AI Visualizer 1.0 in Archicad 28 will be retired in two stages, while the next generation of AI Visualizer will be introduced for Archicad 29 and Archicad 30:
1. English-only prompts in Archicad 28 from September 10, 2026
Starting September 10, 2026, AI Visualizer 1.0 in Archicad 28 will accept prompts in English only. Prompts written in any other language will no longer be supported. This change is required because a third-party translation service that supports non-English prompts is being retired. To continue generating images with AI Visualizer 1.0 until its retirement, please translate prompts into English before entering them in AI Visualizer.

2. Full retirement of AI Visualizer 1.0 in Archicad 28 on October 9, 2026
AI Visualizer 1.0 will remain available in Archicad 28 until the release of Archicad 30. After Archicad 30 is released, support for AI Visualizer 1.0 in Archicad 28 will end in line with the policy of supporting the two latest Archicad versions. On October 9, 2026, the AI Visualizer 1.0 infrastructure will be completely switched off, and AI Visualizer in Archicad 28 will no longer generate images.
3. Introduction of AI Visualizer 3.0 in Archicad 29 and Archicad 30
With the release of Archicad 30, AI Visualizer 3.0 will also become available. It is the next generation of AI Visualizer and is designed to provide a more reliable and powerful AI-powered visualization experience.
AI Visualizer 3.0 will be available as follows:
- Archicad 29
AI Visualizer 2.0 in Archicad 29 will be automatically updated to AI Visualizer 3.0 with the release of Archicad 30.
- Archicad 30
AI Visualizer 3.0 will launch with Archicad 30.
