BIMx Desktop Viewer is now available in the online store for both Windows and macOS platforms. Download the free application to get the next-generation BIMx Desktop Viewer's latest improvements, like the Measure tool and Shading options!
Moving to the store brings the following benefits:
- Better update experience
It’s much simpler to update the application from the store: no need to manually check for updates, download, and install the latest version. Enable automatic updates in store settings! - Faster access to innovation
New features will be available sooner (compared to the main annual release in the Archicad package and manual update download from the Graphisoft corporate website). User feedback about the new features can also be collected, the application adjusted, and the updated app delivered relatively quickly. - Improved reliability
Application inconsistencies (bug fixes) can be issued in a few days, similar to mobile applications. This enhancement dramatically improves the software's reliability – BIMx Desktop Viewer users will not have to wait for months for software issues to be fixed.
Archicad 27 will be the last main version that includes BIMx Desktop Viewer with an installer. Future BIMx updates will only be released for the store version.
