Designed by JKMM, the largest Apple-based Archicad user in Finland, Hospital Nova represents a new generation of patient-centered healthcare.
The first central hospital built in Finland since the 1970s, Hospital Nova shows how careful collaboration and communication between architects, engineers, doctors and medical staff delivered an exemplar in 21st century hospital design.
A team of 30 architects from JKMM worked with 100 engineers over a ten-year period to bring the design to life. Thanks to BIMcloud and Teamwork, multiple individuals could work on different parts of the project at the same time.
At the height of the design phase, the complexity of the project meant that 20 different IFC models were combined into one Archicad model with collisions managed in Solibri and BIM Collab.
