Get to Know Graphisoft's Design Intelligence Strategy

Dear Community Members,

I am excited to share a key advancement in our concept for architectural technology that the company recently introduced at the AIA25 Conference on Architecture & Design's Innovate Theater. Design Intelligence Strategy was born from a vision of integrated intelligent workflows, data-driven design insights, and seamless coordination across architecture, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), and data management. This approach leads to better-performing, more sustainable buildings while boosting creativity, increasing productivity, and expanding the portfolio of successful projects for our users.

We announced Project Aurora, a work in progress, that is going to be a next-generation, cloud-native platform for data-informed, iterative design that extends collaboration beyond architects to other early-stage stakeholders, including engineers, developers, and urban planners.  By integrating sustainability assessments and feasibility analyses into shared digital workspaces, Project Aurora will be a method to bridge early ideation with detailed BIM workflows.

In Fall 2025, Archicad will be updated with new features to provide a seamless and efficient design solution. A brand new AI Assistant will be introduced to users, which sets the foundation for smarter design assistance. This tool leverages AI to streamline workflows by automating repetitive tasks and enhancing product usability. The AI Visualizer allows users to create detailed visualizations from early 3D concepts within Archicad, thanks to a powerful AI engine that generates high-quality images. Users can also look forward to renovation status for markers, opening input in sections and elevations, and flexible interactive schedule formatting, to name a few.

We have developed the Graphisoft MEP Designer standalone software, also integrated within Archicad to streamline collaboration between architects and MEP engineers.
