Over the past months, many of you have shared how disruptive cloud licensing outages can be to your daily work. We heard you, and we have been working on a solution that keeps you focused on your projects but not on licenses.
With Archicad 29.1.0 and the BIMcloud SaaS April release, we have introduced an enhanced grace period for cloud licenses. In practice, this means that if a cloud license service is disrupted, you can continue working in Archicad without interruption — as long as you already have a valid cloud license on that computer.
There is no special setup or configuration needed on your side – just make sure you are running the latest versions, and the system will take care of the rest.
We are committed to making our cloud services more reliable and resilient, and this is an important step in that direction. This improvement is designed to address temporary license service interruptions and reduce the impact of brief service issues.
