Graphisoft support of Windows 10 ends in October 2025.
Microsoft will officially end support of Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. After this date, Windows 10 will no longer receive free software updates, technical assistance, or security fixes from Microsoft.
The compatibility of our products aligns with the official schedule released by Microsoft. Our products are supported for those Windows versions which has the mainstream support by Microsoft. Operating systems (OS) which are already in their extended support timeframe, are not supported by Graphisoft anymore.
Once an operating system is not supported by Microsoft anymore, we stop to support our products on these operating systems as well. Read more on this in the Operating System Support Cycle of Graphisoft Products article.
This means that after October 14, 2025 Archicad and BIMcloud will not receive updates and hotfixes supporting Window 10. While Windows 10 will not be supported, we will not block you installing on your Windows 10 system the updates and hotfixes released after October 14, 2025.
Please note that Archicad 29 will only support Windows 11, while installation on Windows 10 will not be blocked either.
We recommend that you upgrade to Windows 11 to continue receiving updates and security fixes from Microsoft and Graphisoft as well.
When we say an operating system is installable but not supported, then we mean the following:
- No guarantee of functionality: The software may fail to install, crash, or not work as intended on the unsupported OS version. Graphisoft does not ensure that the program will run correctly or at all on that system.
- No updates or hotfixes: If you encounter bugs or issues while running the software on an unsupported OS, Graphisoft will not provide patches or technical support to resolve them for that OS version.
- Potential compatibility problems: Changes in the OS (such as new features, security models, or removed system components) can break the software or cause unexpected behavior.
- Security and compliance risks: Using unsupported combinations can expose you to security vulnerabilities, as neither the operating system nor the software may receive necessary security updates for that environment
