Our Community knowledge base is moving to the Support Site

Dear Graphisoft Community members,

We're making an important improvement to how you find help with Archicad and our other products: the knowledge base articles currently hosted in Graphisoft Community will soon be available on Graphisoft Support Site. Here's what this means for you, and why we're excited about it.

Why we're bringing our knowledge base together in one place

Currently, helpful content about our products lives in more than one location. Bringing our knowledge base articles together with the rest of our support resources in a single place makes it faster and easier to find the exact information you need.

Once the migration is complete, the Support Site will be your one-stop destination if you face a challenge or have a question using our products and want to quickly find the answer yourself. You'll find a rich library of resources written by our experienced support engineers built to help you resolve issues efficiently. You’ll find

  • short, focused how-to and troubleshooting articles for common issues, questions and challenges with our products;
  • FAQs covering the topics you ask about most;
  • longer, in-depth articles that help you use our tools more efficiently and unlock features you might not have discovered yet.

When it's happening

Migration is planned for the end of September to early October. We'll keep you posted on the progress here on Graphisoft Insights.

Your bookmarks will still work

Have a few knowledge base articles saved for quick reference? No need to update anything. Current article URLs will automatically redirect to the same article at its new location on the Support Site, so any links or bookmarks you've saved will keep working after the migration.

No change to how you connect on Graphisoft Community

This change is only about where our knowledge base articles live — it won't change how you use Graphisoft Community to connect with peers. Forums, discussions, webinars, the Wishlist, and every other way you interact with fellow architects and AEC professionals here will continue to work exactly as they do today.

Search first — it's the fastest way to find a solution

Whenever you run into a question or any difficulty, start with a search on the Support Site. Our knowledge base is built from years of real customer questions, so there's a good chance someone has already asked — and answered — the same thing. If not, you can ask your peers in the Community forum. Searching first and asking fellow professionals is usually the quickest and most efficient way to get back to work.

If you still can't find what you're looking for, our Support Team is ready to help. The best way to reach us is to submit a request on the Support Site — this lets our specialists review the details of your case and get you a tailored answer as quickly as possible.

Available in eight languages, and growing

The global Support Site provides helpful content in eight languages: English, German, French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, and Hungarian. The number of articles available isn't the same in every language yet, but we're continuously adding translations to make this content available to as many of you as possible.

More reasons to visit the Support Site

The Support Site is worth bookmarking as an everyday resource. Beyond finding answers quickly, an occasional browse is a great way to pick up tips and best practices you haven’t learned yet.

We'll keep highlighting the best of the unified knowledge base here on Graphisoft Insights. Our monthly roundup will continue as before. Have you seen the latest edition? Check it out: August selection of helpful articles.

Thank you for being part of Graphisoft Community. We're confident that unifying our knowledge base will make it even easier for you to find the answers you need, whenever you need them.
