The new Wishlist is here!

The revamped Wishlist, the second milestone in the community-based Wishlist project, is live. Take a look at what has changed since the Wishlist Spring Cleaning!

 What’s new:

  • Migration & UI upgrade: We’ve migrated all upvoted wishes to the new system and refreshed the user interface.
  • System integration: We’ve connected the Wishlist to our internal systems for a more seamless experience.
  • Wish statuses: The biggest change is a new feature - we’ve introduced new statuses to clarify the lifecycle of your wishes. The main statuses—"Open", "Upvoted", "Under consideration", "On roadmap", "Wish delivered", and "Closed"—will guide you through each phase.  The main action point for you is to gather peer support for your wish and reach "Upvoted" status, nominating it for the Product team's consideration. This will demonstrate demand and strengthen your request with more insights and use cases. For more details, check out our Wishlist guidelines.

Wishlist language availability: The new Wishlist is currently available in four languages: English, German, Portuguese, and Japanese. You can post wishes in any of these languages in their corresponding communities. We will start the launch with the International and German wishlists, followed by the Japanese and Portuguese wishlists, which will go live early next week.

Why this matters: While it’s vital in capturing valuable ideas, the main goal of our new Wishlist is to gather community support and prioritize the features that matter most to you. We appreciate and welcome all your suggestions and hope this new system will enhance our ability to align user feedback with our product roadmap.

What’s next? Stay tuned for our upcoming roadmap, which will feature a live connection with the Wishlist.

Hello @Noemi Balogh,

There are a few wishes that show 2023 deadlines. I know you fixed one of those. Below is another. I suspect there may be more.

I wish the new Keynote tool would let us include the keynote and the description on our details.  Similar to how CI Keynote tool worked.

@SPA Architecture

You need to make this wish in the wishlist forum.

This is just a post about that wishlist forum, not the actual wishlist itself.

It would be good, perhaps more than good, essential that you could place a balustrade, such that it followed the nosing of the stairs as well as staying a fixed distance above the nosings and the top and bottom floor level. After a lengthy discussion with Cadimage, they agree that it is currently not possible. It would also be great if you could have the stair finish with a riser and still have a non-slip accessory on the top level. I am aware that there is a workaround for this, but the workaround is time-consuming, and if you adjust the stair often, the workaround disappears.

All the videos show that you can place a handrail with one click but we don't seem to be able to get a compliant rail without doing a bunch of adjustments.

I am sure this will be a common one but it would be great if the Keynotes could get information from the Properties. I dont believe it can at this stage.

@Glen_W ,

This is not the correct place to make wishes or discuss procedures (one click hand rail).

Please make separate wishes in the wishlist (see first post for link to the wishlist and the guidelines.

And discuss the placing of one click balustrades in the Modelling forum.

Hi,

a use case that could make our life easier, "managing the content of labels by MVO",

imagine that you have location plans at several scales and with specific information for each scale,

I place my labels in a specific layer with a specific code like <#byMVO> which would have the effect of browsing the MVO to determine the content of the label.

On the MVO side we will have a "Documentation" part that will allow us to manage all the documentary parts of the plan and in this part there will be tabs by documentation tool and a system of selection criteria, in the labels tab I choose the label contained in the layer and a Textual field I will be able to recall the automatic texts that I want for this combination of MVO.

This system remains generic and can be used and diverted for any specific use and need, the centralization of the content of the labels is a fundamental subject for a fast and fluid use

@abdelaziz ,

As mentioned in other replies here, this is not the place to discuss actual wishes or procedures.

This was a post just to say that the new wishlist is here.

Please discuss in the general forums or make an actual wish in the wishlist.

If everyone piles in here to discuss all of the various wishes they want, it will just be a huge mess that no one can follow.
