Distance guides

Make someone has asked this before or I'm missing something but why is it that the distance guides cannot be used with dimension placement similarly to objects and elements?

I’ve also been trying to figure out how to do this, but I can’t log into the “Wish” forum to post the request. I believe this feature would be very useful. I’m waiting to see if anyone has a suggestion.

Seems although it should be a setting that can be found under the work environment, but I've had no luck.

That makes sense, however, if I understand correctly the "DISTANCE GUIDE" works only on which element, objects, and lines. But I agree that I could use it more if "DISTANCE" could be selected. I could not find this option either.

I send an email to Graphicsoft. I'll let you know if I get some input.

Distance guides were not designed to work with placing dimensions.
