Archicad 27 freezing at random moments on PC. Anyone else?

HELP!
I have been recently experiencing serious freezes at random times using Archicad 27 on my Windows pro 24 PC.

Its been happening for a couple of weeks now.

I will get the blue processing circle in place of the cursor, and it spins for maybe 20-30 seconds. I do not crash. God forbid I click the mouse a few times because when ArchiCAD wakes back up, every click that hit an object, will have altered the model. Thanks for all the "undos" allowed. LOL

There is no specific trigger. It even happens even while I'm not doing anything.

I switch between a Mac intel at the office and a windows PC at home. Does not happen on the Mac.

It does not happen with other software on my PC.

It does not matter if I have chrome or my Foxit PDF editor, or any other software open or not.

I have never experienced this before and wow its very aggravating and a major interruption to my workflow.

My project size is small, about 100kb, and the task manager does not report big up-tics in processing when happening.

Any help is appreciated!

Operating system used: Windows 24H2

Thanks Barry, re: the info on height stretch. I know this is not your fault, I understand that nothing is perfect, but this stretch height problem has been happening since forever, so long, that i instinctively avoid using it! By the way, this happens on cornerboards, cabinets, columns, many architectural features that one would want to stretch in 3D/elevation view.) To me its a little funny that it never got fixed, or just removed as a tool option.

Brings me back to why add more features and charge/add new features yearly for things we don't want or need, when some simple tools just don't work?

I'm way off course now on this stretch issue....the random freezing is MUCH more serious.  I will be contacting my local support and focus on them.

But still its important for forums like this to exist. Even if users see something they forgot about and just "pile on", because hopefully many others will see it and voice their concerns, bringing it to the attention of corporate or the designers of this software.

Hey Botonis, thanks for the suggestion.

I have un-installed and installed fresh copies of ArchiCAD.

I never install 3rd party addons, because I just don't know what's useful or not. I always expect this software to be all-inclusive for the business of single family houses that I design.  For me, its difficult enough to manage libraries, work environments, different kinds of view settings and the multitudes of other intricacies without adding something that's not officially part of the software. Maybe I'm just too old and set in my ways, or this is a pitfall of being self taught.  But I'm afraid of what could go wrong. Managing software as complicated as this is a real time suck...in my small office where everyone works independently, I don't have IT resources, or cad managers, most of the staff still use plain old 2D autocad, if that's not too hard to believe!
