Archicad 28 laggy and slow to response with updated macOS Tahoe

Hi

Archicad 28 is experiencing significant performance issues on macOS Tahoe (on M1 Apple silicon iMac) with constant lags and very slow response times. The software worked without any issues on the previous macOS version.

Could you please inform us about when we can expect an update or fix to address this compatibility issue?

I’m running Archicad 28 and 29 on Tahoe and haven’t noticed any performance issues. Is your Archicad 28 fully up to date? How long ago did you update to Tahoe?

Yes Archicad is up to date, version 28.3.0 (6003), I updated to Tahoe about 2-3 weeks ago and since then Archicad have been very slow in response times.

This is what I get when I want to download ArchiCAD 28 and 29. But I already installed ArchiCAD 28 before.

This has nothing to do with Archicad running slow in Tahoe.

Please create a new post or find one similar to discuss this issue.

I assume it’s slow across all projects you open and not just one?

Yes, that is correct. I have tried multiple files, and they are all slow to respond.

Do all the files use the same Libraries or anything loaded in from network shares or anything like that? Any Libraries other than those out of the box?

There could be something different to how Tahoe is dealing with network shares upsetting Archicad.

please tell me, do your visualizations work in Archicad 28 in the Tahoe system?

Do you mean Cinerender?
