Hi, how could i draw a structure that has a basement. Obviously, the ground floor isn't the datum level; and the building has to start from hte basement concrete slab up with teh remaning floors where the construction is of timber floors.

If I understand your question correctly open your story settings select your base story (different in the UK than here I think) and add a story below. Your base story keeps its datum and the lower story adjusts accordingly.
