Hardware key recowery

Is it possible to recover lost hardware key.
I have talked with local reseller and received information that it is impossible. Only new purchase

Hi Jackok,

The hardware key should be covered on the buildings contents insurance, as should any other bit of hardware you have in the office. Speak to your insurers.

If you have an Archicad subscription, the lost key should be covered. (In the US, anyway)

What if no insurance or Archicad subscription ?
It seems that i lost also my money due to lack of hardware key
