I am a new user of ArchiCAD 9 and I want to design a roof similar to the one that appears as a logo everytime I start ArchiCAD.
I have tried the roof tool but I find it difficult to join the edges, especially when I try to connect single roofs that are not on the same height.
I would be greatfull for any help, thanks...!
I am reffering to as "roof" to the part of the building marked up with the red rectangular, consisted of square parts with gaps within them.
It could actually be a facade of a building but imagine looking from a
"bird's eye view" can look like a roof.
Creating holes is easy. Joining different parts together while not being on the same height and rotating them in order one to touch another is quite complicated.
Anyway I 'll try a different way of making sth like this using the wall tool.
