the Nemetschek creator 'App' is literally just a microsoft edge shortcut leading to a page stating 'coming soon'
Why do you need to 'install' this and why cant you choose to not install this?
I am not a fan of any application bloating my users menus and pcs with useless links and apps.
For everyone wanting to remove this on windows, go to C:\Users\Public\Desktop and delete "Nemetschek creator.lnk"
Operating system used: Windows 11-25h2

Hi @elydion ,
thank you for sharing your feedback, and we appreciate you raising this question. We understand how encountering a shortcut that leads to a "Coming Soon" page can be confusing and frustrating, so I would like to share some context on why it was introduced and what is coming next.
With Archicad 30, we wanted to make the upcoming Nemetschek Creator easily discoverable as a dedicated desktop entry point alongside Archicad, while intentionally keeping any promotional elements or banners outside of your active modelling and drawing environment.
However, because Nemetschek Creator is scheduled for early access starting on October 28, 2026, and Archicad 30 was released ahead of that date, the shortcut currently points to the product overview page as an interim step. We understand that landing on a product page rather than accessing the platform directly may come as a surprise.
We are currently enhancing this experience with a clearer onboarding flow that introduces Creator, explains eligibility, and provides direct access when Early Access opens.
In the meantime, if you or your team do not plan to use Creator or simply prefer to keep your desktop clean, you can safely remove the shortcut as you noted (deleting Nemetschek creator.lnk from C:\Users\Public\Desktop on Windows or removing the desktop/dock icon on macOS). Doing so has no impact on your Archicad 30 installation or workflow.
Thank you again for your candid feedback.
Cheers,
Greg
