Palettes disappearing, AC17

twice today 2 of my 'check marked' (meaning ON) palettes have disappeared, even though they say they are 'check marked'. So I went to try to turn them back on and after releasing the cursor over the check marks they both do reappear, but why are they disappearing in the first place?

Menu>Window>Palettes>Coordinates
Menu>Window>Palettes>Control Box

I'm not sure what is triggering them to disappear. I have Safari running but even typing this message isn't making the palettes disappear.

Thanks.

Also another issue, there seems to be continued crash issues when also running Adobe software. AC has crashed using PhotoShop and also Illustrator in the background. I've had this issue with AC10 in the past as well. Any ideas why this might be happening?

I don't know if this is related or not, but I have had problems with drop down menus in the Info Box. I am using ArchiCad 14 (build 4204) and since I upgraded my laptop to a new MacBook Pro running OSX 10.8.4, the menus in the Info Box are disconnected from the menu. The pens palette floats off to the right and I can only reach one row of pen colors. The same thing happened with the measured/custom text feature for dimensions. That one showed once and jumped off the right side of the screen and has not been seen since. Is there a way to reset this or do I need to wait for another update?

I'm not having issues with the Info Box or 'palettes floating off' (the screen?) but maybe it has to do with screen resolution using a laptop. I'm using two 27" monitors.

I think my issue must be a conflict of some sort, triggered by some other software, perhaps Adobe since I've had issues with Adobe and Graphisoft running together in the past.

Could this be because of my new lap top which has a retina display? The screen resolution on this machine is 2880 x 1800. Maybe Graphisoft hasn't tested this at this resolution yet. Though I suspect it is a conflict or bug involving the Mountain Lion OS.

I think this bug may still be around. I have one user with ArchiCAD 18-5100 on an iMac 27" with Yosemite 10.10.4. She said it's happened several times, and each palette is still checked in the Window menu. They each have to be turned off and back on again. They appear in the same location, but not necessarily stretched as they were previously. As far as I can tell, it's only happened to one user out of 50.

I'll look around her machine to see if she's got anything odd loaded.
