Plotflow and Oce

We are trying to send .plt files to our Oce TDS600 thru Plotflow. We are trying to connect via TCP/IP but do not know the correct port number. The default port 9100 is not working. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

We have the same machine, but have never used Plotflow. Why not use Print Exec LT?

You may be on Windows, and I don't know the differences... but I plot to an Oce 9300 via plotflow using port 9100, and it works fine. Are you sure the tcp/ip address is not the issue?

I have used a TDS400 with PlotFlow without any problems. Another fun trick is to ftp files directly into the que. You will need the IP address and ftp port for this. If you know the address you can use a network utility to scan the ports. You drag and drop PLT, PDF and Postscript files using an ftp client and the server will handle them all nicely. Good machine.

I was talking with Robert on the phone and he wanted me to thank everyone for their suggestions (for some reason he couldn't get logged back in).

I know it is possible to use ftp for plotting plt files on tds400, but I have paid a lot of money for ArchiCAD and I don't understand why I cannot plot directly from ArchiCAD/PlotMaker from MacOS X computer and from winxp I can.
MacOS X has great, OPEN SOURCE system for printing delivery - CUPS. Why Graphisoft don't us it for plotting delivery instead of using only 9100 (proprietary HP technology) which is not supported by ALL printers/plotters - for example oce tds/tcs series (appletalk, lpr and smb are supported by ALL plotters) and by server's print services.

As I said, I had no trouble plotting to the Oce with PlotFlow using tcp/ip on port 9100. It is printing that was the issue. As I recall, I did finally get the printing to work as an LPR printer, but I found it better to simply drag the pdf files to the ftp server.

It is strange but while my HP 800PS has got 9100 tcp port open, TDS400PS no, and the is no system preference to open it.

I have another problem - not with tds400 but with HP DesignJet 800ps. TDS400 is VERY fast plotter so my network admin could allow me plot directly to it (using ftp protocol of course), but he "ask" me do not plot directly to HP plotter, without respecting printing code, but he wants me to plot to our print server witch accept lpr/appletalk/smb transmissions. At this moment I have to open classic PlotFlow (appletalk) or windows Plotflow (lpr) to do it that it is not very good solution.
