SSD for 13 MBpro

Hello, have anybody here experience with SSD or hybrid disks in 13 MacBookPro (current generation) Will it have any significant impact for loading files and, most importantly for generating 3D views or creating 3D documents?

Please if you have any experience with SSD on mac share them. Thanks.

A faster drive should improve read/write operations such as opening and saving files and loading local libraries (though these improvements may not be significant and perhaps not even noticeable). In my experience 3D operations are constrained primarily by the processor and (possibly) RAM speed. I don't think a faster drive will have any appreciable effect in 3D.

I put an SSD drive into my laptop about 2 months ago.
I had Vista 32bit before on a HDD. It was slow, When the system started it took more than 2 minutes for the system to load everything.
Now I have Win7 64bit which boots from the SSD drive.
It is really fast, the whole system is up and running in about 35 seconds.
Your whole system will be faster and more responsive thanks to the SSD drive.
But I agree with Matthew, ArchiCAD specifically will not get a great boost in 3D from it. The whole system will benefit in general.
