Hi guys. Anyone had any issues with the hover over tool tips not displaying correctly?
When I hover over the tools, the tool tip that pops up is just random. ie not the tool being hovered over..
I am still very much learning archicad, and I find it super frustrating.
I have had at least two gurus from cadimage look at it.
I have even deleted Archicad off my computer, and did a complete fresh install. Opened a brand new project, using the standard templates, incase one of my files was somehow corrupt... but getting same issue 😞

This was an issue in testing and maybe in the first release, but I thought it was all fixed and have not had any issues myself.
Make sure you have the latest build installed 28.0.3 - build 3120.
Maybe turn the tooltips off in the HELP menu and turn them back on again?

Thanks for jumping onto that so quickly Barry!
See screen shot of Archicad version (latest one available).
Tried tips off and on again, restart. No joy
It seems to be in conjunction with other serious graphical glitches. I wonder was that an issue in the test versions too?
Archicad has been stable for only about two weeks, and then started acting up again today..
3d model showing random elements. For eg, half the walls, no roof, some of the furniture.
This isn't down to layers or graphic overrides, take a wall for example - in 2d, I could copy and paste or command D + option to drag a copy, and the new element wouldn't show in 3d. But if go to the 3d model, I could grab the same wall and command D+option, and it would be visible.
In sections - sections sometimes come through to the view map at 45 degrees. Also the 2d annotation on the sections has started going missing.
I end up putting multiple dimensions, fills etc on because they are not showing up on the screen..
Because I am a newish user, I spend forever checking pens, layers, over rides, everything I can think of, then I will to the floor plan for example, and when I go back into the section, those things have appeared. They will continue to drop in and out.
It is pretty much impossible to work in. The guys at cadimage aren't much help..
I only work part time so only have access to Archicad a few hours a day.
I appreciate your time!

I know nothing about Macs unfortunately.
Your 3D issue sounds to me like it could be video card related.
In Windows, we can set the system settings to use the dedicated graphics card rather than any built in GPU, I have no idea if Macs can do the same.
There have been posts here about elements not being visible in 3D but still selectable in 3D, it is just a matter of finding them.
It could be elements cutting other elements (i.e. duplicates in the same place).
It could be you model is very far from the project origin (not to be confused with the user origin which can be anywhere).
Or it could be video card related.
To check if video card related, switch the 3D style for hardware accelerated to vectorial engine.
If you now see the elements, then i would suspect video card/drivers.

I see you are on an ARM Mac, @Simon487 . It is essential when you ask questions here to note your platform and your operating system version as it all makes a difference 🙂
I'm on 28.1 build 4000 so can't test your build, but I have no issues like you describe on macos Sequoia 15.3.1. Note if you are running a version of macos earlier than Sonoma, you can expect UI problems, so if that's the case, do update your Mac.
@Barry Kelly ARM Macs don't have graphics cards - only older Intel ones do. The GPU's and CPU's are all on a single Apple designed chip these days and mondo OS updates update everything so there's never anything a user on a Mac can do if there is an OS/graphics/etc issue other than be sure that they are on Apple's latest updates. 🙂
